About Guided Trips With Kirks Mountain Adventures
Our hiking trips go out, rain, snow or shine. If you cancel within 48 hours of your scheduled trip you will lose your deposit. Trip deposits will be refunded, minus $50, if canceled more than 48 hours before your scheduled trip. You may reschedule your trip if it is more than 48 hours before your scheduled trip.
Depending on the departure time of your trip, please show up at least 15 minutes before at our Estes Park shop.
We are located at 230 E. Elkhorn Ave. in downtown Estes Park, right across from city hall and just down from the Dairy Queen.
If coming from the Denver/Boulder direction, take HWY 36 to Estes Park and take a left at the second light (E. Elkhorn Avenue). We are a couple of blocks down on the left.
If coming from Ft. Collins/Loveland direction take HWY 34 straight into town. This will turn into E. Elkhorn Ave, and we will be a couple of blocks down on the left.
Park in the parking lot located just off of the Dairy Queen and walk a couple shops back down to Kirks Fly Shop & Mountain Adventures.

Depending on availability of our guides, a day's notice can work for our day hiking trips but for overnight trips, please prepare in advance as we need to reserve backcountry camping permits.
Nope! We guide hikers of all experience levels, fitness levels, and ages on these trips. As long as you can walk on a trail with uneven surfaces, we can accommodate you and your group.
