Guided Longs Peak Trips
Take the guided trip of your life and summit Longs Peak with one of our professional Rocky Mountain National Park guides! Longs Peak is the northernmost fourteener in the Rocky Mountains and stands at a towering 14,259 feet and is one of the most sought after summits in the United States.
Kirk’s Mountain Adventure offers our guided Long Peak trips as either a one-day adventure or an overnight backpacking trip. Our Longs Peak one-day trekking tour begins bright and early at 2 a.m! Nothing like starting your day before the birds! Although it can be one of the longest day hiking trips you’ll take, it is crucial to leave at this hour. Reaching the summit of Longs Peak before the afternoon thunderstorms will give you the best views and experience. As you are hiking up Longs, you can look out over the Chasm Lake turnoff and view the city lights of the Front Range. From here you will continue on to the Boulder Field and the Keyhole. The Keyhole overlooks the back side of Longs, and is your passage to the long trek up the summit. Once through the Keyhole you will ascend to the summit of Longs Peak. Though only two miles of the trip, this is the most difficult part, but rewarding when you reach the summit of Longs Peak at 14,259 ft with the most spectacular views of the Park, Estes Park Valley and the Colorado Front Range!
